This medium sized birch plywood A-board sign features a bolted plywood hinge and reinforced bracing for stability.

The sign is supplied unfinished, giving you the flexibility to hand-decorate or apply your preferred treatment.

Although the sign can be used outdoors with proper coating, it is guaranteed for indoor use only. Exposure to wet conditions will inevitably cause discoloration and staining over time.

Please note: Wood is a natural material, and while we carefully select the finest surfaces, you may notice occasional grain markings or small plugs.

Designed, batch-produced, and packaged in Stockport, UK.

FAQ

What is a birch ply lightbox?

A birch ply lightbox is a wooden lightbox made from birch plywood, with integrated LED lighting behind a graphic face. Birch ply is strong, stable, and gives a clean exposed edge finish.

Are birch ply lightboxes better than MDF lightboxes?

Yes. Birch plywood is stronger, more durable, and more sustainable than MDF. It also holds fixings better and is easier to repair, making it ideal for long-term use.

What sizes are your wooden lightboxes available in?

We offer standard sizes as well as fully bespoke birch ply lightboxes made to your exact dimensions. Get in touch to discuss custom sizes or layouts.

Can the graphics be changed later?

Yes. Replacement graphic prints can be supplied, allowing you to update your lightbox by simply sliding in the thin printed film. Alternatively you can use cut vinyl applied directly onto the acrylic.

What type of lighting do you use?

We use high-quality LED lighting, wiring, and transformers supplied by TAGRA Lighting. LEDs are mounted on a reflective backing to maximise brightness and even light spread.

Are your lightboxes suitable for outdoor use?

No. Our birch ply lightboxes are designed for indoor use only.

Where are your birch ply lightboxes made?

All of our wooden lightboxes are CNC-cut and hand-assembled in our Stockport workshop in the UK.
